Boris Konstantinovich ZAITSEV (1881–1972) An autograph letter in Russian and its envelope addressed to Jurgis Kasimirovich BALTRUCHAITIS (1873–1944), dated November 26, 1940, so that he could arrange a meeting, Zaïtsev, residing in Boulogne-sur-Seine: "Dear Jurgis Kazimirovich, if you are willing to meet with me and Vera, I would be delighted to*. Levin told me that you’ve been to the Closerie des Lilas. Set a date and time, and we’ll come (just not Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday this week). I assume it’s in the afternoon? That is, around 5 o’clock? It’s harder to get out in the evenings—and we live far away, in Boulogne. Warm regards to both of you. Perhaps Maria Ivanovna will come as well? We’d be very happy to have her. Yours, Bor. Zaitsev."
