Assembly of sewn-together textile prints, signed and marked “Cotignac” within the design

This banner is the result of a collaboration between the artist and the textile company Brochier in Lyon in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It is part of a series that was notably displayed in Lyon, on Rue de la République, at the initiative of André Mure (1922–2007), the city’s Deputy Mayor for Cultural Affairs from 1977 to 1989
