BACCARAT & GEORGES CHEVALIER (1882-1967) Set of 8 individual butter dishes, in modernist cut crystal. Josephine Baker model. Signed below the Baccarat manufacture stamp. Circa 1943 Perfect condition History: This plate model, designed in the 1930s by Georges Chevalier, was named Joséphine Baker, after the artist commissioned it for her wedding to Jo Bouillon in 1947.
