China, 18th/19th century Pale celadon jade fibula with dragon head hook, carved in high openwork relief of a chilong dragon with sinuous body biting into a lingzhi mushroom. L. 11.5 cm LM Provenance: Acquired by French engineer and diplomat Henri Maux (1901-1950) during his mission to China between 1945 and 1949 (between Shanghai, Nanking and Hong Kong), and remained in his family ever since. Good condition
