In-12, XII, (1) f. d'approbation, 455 p., marbled blond calf, richly decorated and gilt ribbed spine, coat of arms in the center of the boards, marbled edges (period binding). First edition bearing the arms of the city of Avignon, illustrated with an engraved frontispiece and title. The work is dedicated to Queen Marie Leszczynska, whose preacher the author was (Caillet, 673). Ex libris and label of the consuls of Avignon. Aureole around the city's coat of arms, probably due to its affixing, slight browning.
