Model 1821 infantry officer's saber. Handle covered in chagrin with filigree. Chased and gilded brass mounting, two-prong guard. Curved, flat-backed blade with remains of the engraving "Manufre Rale de Klingenthal Juillet 1829" (a few spots of heavy pitting). Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Length: 91 cm. A.B.E.
