Trained in his father's workshop, he continued his apprenticeship in France and Italy, where he practiced between 1715 and 1728. He settled in Lyon in 1731, where he remained until his death in 1753. His most emblematic work is undoubtedly the church of Saint-Bruno des Chartreux, which he supervised between 1733 and 1737. In particular, he designed the plan for the monumental baldachin, for which the columns were ordered in 1733. Delamonce was also involved in the embellishment of the Collège de la Trinité church, where he created the high altar, marble coverings and vault paintings.
