Sulfurous text composed during the opium-addicted period of writer Maurice Magre (Toulouse 1877 - Nice 1941); beautifully illustrated with 12 fine etchings by CHIMOT. ARTIST'S EDITION CONTAINING 2 ORIGINAL DRAWINGS, including one in color, and 68 states of the engravings on different papers, sometimes signed, unevenly distributed, including one dedicated to Madame Bobeau. Case and folder damaged.
