First edition of this superb work presenting the different crews classified by hunting region. Lavishly illustrated with color and bistre engravings, including 32 full-page color plates by the author. Printed in an edition of 600 copies on vellum, this one (INH). "This beautiful volume is extremely sought-after today and is becoming increasingly rare" (Thiébaud, 772). The title and false-title bear 2 ORIGINAL SIGNATURES BY ENGLISH PAINTER CECIL ALDIN. A few stains, very light wetness in the bottom margin.
