Tibet, late 19th century Thangka, tempera on canvas, depicting three wrathful deities at the bottom, Padma Sambhava seated on a lotus throne in the center, holding vajra, kapala and khatvanga, his mandorla surrounded by leaves, surmounted by an aeropagus of deities and lamas against a sky-blue background, mounted on patterned textile. Wear, folds (and stains on the frame).
