Ridge finial Stamped sheet metal. Depicts a pigeon ready to take flight, wings half extended and tail feathers stamped with chevron and striated friezes. The bird is perched on a small rounded mound, complete with foliage (formerly added), all resting on a square molded base. Partly 19th century Total height: 58 cm - Depth: 33 cm Condition: accidents and restorations, rust. Wooden base extending into a stem reinforcing the overall structure.
