Small hourglass - Lot 15
Small hourglass Glass body with two bulbs, iron cage with bars. Mantling-cut belts Late 18th century H: 9 cm - Diameter: 4.3 cm Condition: traces of rust. Bulb connection visible (without its ball of wire), some mantling twisted. An hourglass cover, decorated with polychrome straw marquetry and floral bouquet and foliage scrolls. The top part is missing (circle that closes the cover).
