Printed hanging, Alsace (?), late 19th century, panel made up of two sewn linen cloth laizes, block-printed and painted with Far Eastern-inspired polychrome decoration of immortals in a frame decorated with dragons and phoenixes, cherry tree branches with Japanese birds and owls. Stamped in ink on reverse GI-IT, 197 x 169 cm (slight traces of moisture on the two phoenix medallions).
