Ceremonial vest, Morocco, circa 1880, vest in branched brocade fashioned in violet silk and gilded laughing thread. Plastron highlighted with two lines of braided buttons in gold and silver thread and arabesques in braid and cordonnet appliqué, (2 small accidents, tapered collar). Cotton main lining. A pair of embroidered babouche slippers and a square silk shawl, 80 x 80 cm.
