Important embroidered table rug, Turkey, circa 1900, crimson silk satin embroidered in Cornély appliqué and gold thread with a flower cartouche with the sultan's turgha, surrounded by garlands of flowers and calligraphic cartouches. Lined, (fused silk), 265 x 175 cm. We enclose a kalamkari square (stains), 95 x 95 cm.
