Sofreh in kalamkari, Persia, first third of the 20th century, two-layered panel of cotton canvas printed and painted in black, red and blue, decorated with rosettes in a frame of floral arabesques and botehs. Borders with leaning paisley palmettes and floral scrolls. Stamped in ink on the reverse, partly legible, (tears at the corners), 265 x 217 cm.
