Second edition (the first in 1594) of this entertaining treatise dedicated to Madame la Duchesse de Reths. The author, born in the second half of the 16th century in Montélimaret, held himself in the highest esteem, declaring that he possessed "the greatest imaginative virtue that has ever existed".
