Les établissements Tarot were trunk makers. Their luggage was made from parchment leather, and offered a range of made-to-measure products. Parchment leather is distinguished from all other leathers by its originality, robustness and unique natural texture. It is worth noting that the Maison had succeeded in perfecting a dyeing technique to bring parchment out of its original ivory color.
Acclaimed by Catherine Deneuve and Daniel Auteuil during the filming of André Téchiné's "L'enfant de la nuit" in 1995, the house was recognized for its outstanding craftsmanship and was awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France prize.
