First edition of Paul Morand's preface and first printing of this album, which has become a classic among books illustrated with Brassaï's photographs, reproduced in heliogravure and illustrating aspects of Parisian nightlife in the 1930s. Minor cover defects, but a good copy of Brassaï's first publication.
