ALMANACH ROYAL, Année 1786 présenté à Sa Majesté par Laurent d'Houry, ayeul de l'éditeur, (Paris), arranged and published by d'Houry, printer and bookseller to Monseigneur le Duc d'Orléans (1786). Fort in-8, old red morocco, triple gilt fillet, arms on covers, gilt fleur-de-lys on corners, smooth spine decorated with fleur-de-lys, blue silk endpapers, gilt edges (period binding). A copy bearing the arms of René Nicolas de Maupéou, chancellor and minister during the reign of Louis XV. The first 3 months of the annual calendar and the list of kings and queens are missing. Blunted corners, binding defects. (O.H.R. pl. 2243, iron 3).
