First volume only (of 2); illustrated with a large frontispiece, a portrait of the author, 54 beautiful plates (views, various scenes, costumes, natural history...) often with several subjects, including a very large PANORAMA OF THE CITY OF ISPAHAN MEASURING 1.80 METERS IN LENGTH, 24 hors-texte engravings and 3 folding maps. Sparse foxing, light marginal rings on last few leaves, small margin repair on a few pages. Binding worn and missing. (Chadenat 4772).
