Attributed to Albert DURAZ Chevalière ring in 18K (750‰) yellow gold, the ring decorated with fantastical scriptures, the round plate centered with a square onyx plaque in claw setting. Unsigned, Master Goldsmith's hallmark not legible. TDD 60 - Gross weight: 17 g. Albert DURAZ (1926-2004): Artist-sculptor and goldsmith from Lyon, developed his style after the war, strongly influenced by romanticism, fantasy and lost civilizations. Inspired by the authors and painters of his time, he worked extensively for the theater. He helped French jewelry break out of the shackles of Art Deco and the Tank style by breaking the classical formal rules, developing true jewelry-statues filled with forgotten or future imaginary worlds.
