Barrette brooch in 18K (750‰) 2-tone gold decorated with a plant garland and set with rose-cut diamonds, it holds a removable pendant composed of a modified 40-franc French gold coin (Napoléon Ier 1812), the back pierced to propose a souvenir holder (glass missing) in a patterned surround, it is surmounted by an 8x8-cut diamond and the imperial eagle.
Hallmarked by a Master Goldsmith, possibly REUILLE Roger in Vichy.
