Satin-finish veneered high cabinet in amaranth frames, with a double recess on the front and sides, opening to a narrow drawer and two doors on the front, the uprights rounded with false fluting, the feet slightly curved; extensive bronze trim including falls, keyholes, pearl and water-leaf moldings, lamp-post; orange-red marble top (broken and glued back together). Château de Chanteloup fire mark (partially faded) Partly 18th-century work: the frame circa 1770, the veneer replaced and the bronzes added at a later date.
