Japan, 19th century Large ivory netsuke manju depicting, carved in shishiaibori, the famous Chinese general Xiang Yu (Kôu in Japanese) from the 3rd century B.C. catching a wild horse by the tail and neck, which would become his famous mount Zhui (Sui).
