Monochrome and vivid polychrome decorations of natural and stylized flowers, including poppies and roses, paisley variations, complex abstractions, fantasies, some prints on warp. Several bear a printed Steiner Et Lantz Frères. Approx. 720 samples, (some missing, binding damaged) From H. 9 cm - W. 15 cm to H. 25 cm - W. 18 cm RMH Textile archives from the collection of Monsieur X, textile designer, collected in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to serve his inspiration, mainly in Alsace and Lyon.
