One volume in-4°, contemporary muted boards (only first cover survives), 271 pp. in legible handwriting, with marginal notes by another hand. Index at the end. Susini handwritten ex libris to title. According to a handwritten note, the marginal notes are by J. C. Gregory. They usually serve as paragraph markers in the text. No original manuscript exists for this fundamental work, and only later versions by this great humanist have come down to us. Cartographers drew extensively on his Dialogo to create new maps. Here, however, we have the transcription of an edition that conforms to the earliest known AP editions.
