In-4°, tan-red shagreened calf, bonze plate by Denys Puech inset on first board, smooth spine decorated with gilt lyre, partly uncut, slipcase, (publisher's binding). 12 fine hors-texte lithographs by Fantin-Latour, and 22 headpieces and cul-de-lampe by G. Simoes da Fonseca. Edition strictly limited to 177 copies, this one of 150 numbered on velin du Marais, specially printed for M. S. Rosental, enriched with a suite of the hors-texte lithographs on silk paper, 1 in sanguine with remarks on Chine and 1 suite of the 22 in-text woodcuts on silk and one on Chine. Copy in perfect condition.
