This is one of the best treatises to be recommended to anyone wishing to practice magnetism. A famous magnetizer, the author fights against the marvelous and the supernatural, and seeks to propagate magnetism by experimental means. Long handwritten note glued to the back cover, the binder has glued the original spine to the binding, otherwise a good copy (Caillet II, 5966).
