Jean FAUTRIER (1898-1964) Flowers, 1939 Oil on paper mounted on canvas, signed and dated lower right H. 81 cm - L. 65 cm Slight lack of material lower right Observed under violet light, a few slight dullings appear in the black areas on the right-hand side and in the flowers on the left; these are most probably the result of reworking by the artist in view of his technical experiments.
