CHURCH. - Lot 243
CHURCH.
Volume in-folio, brown basane (small accidents), with the arms of the pope's gonfalonier, stamped in the center of the boards, in a double frame (18th century binding). Inside covered with embroidered cloth. Ex-libris "T. Froissart".
A very curious "book" whose interior consists of just two cardboard "Cartella / di dottrina" sheets to which red woollen threads have been attached opposite instructions: "Dite l'Ave Maria", "Oglio Santo", "Le Corporali", etc., beginning with "Siete voi Cristiano", and ending with "Dite l'Auto di Carità". Possibly by Niccolo Pallavicini Rospigliosi (1677-1759), Church gonfalonier. MLL
