Italy Flintlock travel trombone by Giuseppe Banchi Wooden frame with mouldings in places, retractable stock, replaced knob topped by an armorial thumbpiece, swan-neck lock signed "Giuseppe Banchi" (signature partly covered by the steel bassoon), brass counterplate topped by a steel belt hook, engraved breech tail, side and round barrels with numerous hallmarks at the start, some with remains of gilding, muzzle blunderbuss barrel decorated with strokes, all brass fittings, ramrod missing, accidents and damage to the wood. Late 18th century, early 19th century L. 80 cm Giuseppe Banchi practiced in Brescia at the end of the 18th century.
