In-8 of [28]-383 (misf. 381)-1bl. leaves, brown calf, cold framing on boards with gilt fleurons (modern pastiche binding). Letter from Andréa Alciat to the printer at the beginning. This edition, reprinted several times in the 16th century, was intended for students; it features 22 pictorial headbands, all visually related to the text, and a large full-page woodcut of the tree of law in the form of a man holding the branches of a tree.
