Venice, in Aedibus Haeredum Aldi, et Andreae Soceri, December 1533. 1 vol. in-8 of [54]-295 (badly numbered)-[1] leaves, ivory vellum (contemporary binding). Second Aldine edition with several woodcuts in Columella's treatise, given by the heirs of Aldus and Andrea Torresani in December 1533, bringing together the 3 famous treatises on agriculture by Cato, Varron and Columella, to which was added Palladius' treatise on trees. In this edition, the Ennarationes et Annotationes are arranged in rather large tables, and the text is the same as that of 1514, except for corrections taken from the Junte edition, 1521. A good, unblemished copy, with a handwritten contemporary bookplate of Andréa C....., Archidiacroni Politiani with a few annotations. (Brunet, V, 246) (Renouard, p. 109) (USTC, 800776).
