(1529?). LE TRAICTE DES EAUX ARTIFICIELLES AVEC LES VERTUS ET PROPRIETEZ DICELLES. No place, name or date. Small gothic in-8, 36 (of 40) leaves with 27 lines, (19th century boards). This collection of medicines based on water mixed with plants, attributed to Jean Himbres, was first printed in Lyon in 1483 and reprinted throughout the 16th century. It is a precious testimony to Renaissance folk medicine. This edition appears to be part of Julien Hubert's production (see D. Hillard); it is decorated with 2 identical woodcuts, one on the title and the second on the verso of the last leaf. The collation of the 1538 edition digitized at the BNF is different. 4 leaves are missing (Bechtel V-80).
