BELT, Thomas, F. G. S. The naturalist in Nicaragua... London, John Murray, 1874. In-80, glazed red calf, gilt and ornate ribbed spine, green title page, double row of gilt filleting, gilt coat of arms in center of front cover (unidentified), gilt edges, marbled edges. This naturalist spent four years in Nicaragua, where he was in charge of certain mines. He was also passionate about natural history, and the results of his research were much appreciated.
