Collection of French stamps from 1849 to 1938, presented on "MOC" sheets. For the classic period, the value stamps are second choice or repaired. They include: no. 1 touched at the bottom, no. 2 and 5 repaired, no. 6 short margin (tangent to the fillet) signed by A.Brun at €1,000, no. 15 thinned and touched, no. 30 mint (*) without gum and three short teeth at the top, no. 33 repaired and replated, no. 40B vertical fold, no. 44 repaired, no. 48 mint * original gum but corner fold at €750. From 1900 onwards, the stamps are mint with hinge (usually first hinge), but some stamps are glued (because the collection was kept in a bank safe for a long time). The quality is much better and there are a few regummed stamps. The set is almost complete, including: no. 122 with a fine gum, €1,000; no. 136 Paire Millésimée "6" (adhesions on reverse), €550; no. 138c 10 ct scarlet, €230, signed A. Brun (adhesion at bottom of stamp); nos. 148 to 154, €1,350 (no. 153 signed A.Brun), no. 182 Congrès de Bordeaux cancelled €650, no. 188A Minéraline €500, no. 207 10 Fr Merson €150, no. 208 20 Fr Merson the Bord de Feuille folded on the reverse of the stamp is stuck, no. 257A Congrès du Havre the Bord de Feuille folded on the reverse of the stamp is stuck.
