Proof on brown paper, cut at the edge of the composition and mounted on modern vellum.
H. 30.5 cm - L. 23 cm AC
Conservation: the lower corners have been rubbed or heavily erased, and the words "J.T. Prestel Sc." is faded, as is Ligozzi's "Del" on the left. Three small pinholes at edge of leaf, top center. Shine and luster visible in low light; traces and undulations in upper right corner.
Long given as the work of Johann Theophilus Prestel, the latest Prestel catalog raisonné attributes the print to Maria Katharina.
