CHINA, early 20th century Rectangular cabinet on four square scrolled legs with braces, opening with two leaves into which are inserted two carved and lacquered wood panels in red, green and gold (probably Ningbo) showing figural scenes of palaces and gardens, surrounded by a band of scrolls of flowers and fruit and auspicious symbols, two other smaller carved and lacquered panels on both sides, an openwork decoration of leiwen at the top of the legs, the incised brass lock. H. 132.5 cm - W. 117 cm - D. 42 cm LDM Decorated with a detached foot at the top, accident to the left side panel, crack to the right side panel, cracks and wear to the lacquered panels. Key missing.
