Mahogany and mahogany veneer man's powder case with inset marble top; it opens in front with two drawers, one containing a folding easel mirror, the other a writing case with movable shelf trimmed in green leather; the fluted uprights like the tapered legs with sabot and roulette.
Stamped by Louis Moreau, Maître in 1764.

The rear panel is insolate, one mahogany bracket is missing under the writing drawer and the other needs to be reattached, slight crazing to the marble.
