Cabinet in ebony and blackened wood with a flap revealing drawers and false drawers and a closed central compartment; beautifully decorated with engraved carved bone and hardstone cabochons (including lapis lazuli), scrolls, rosettes, cherubs and intertwined fillets, double base, ormolu drop handles decorated with facing lions. Partly 17th century H. 52.8 cm - W. 52 cm - D. 29.5 cm BL The drawers have been reassembled, there are through cracks in the front and sides, the inlay and veneer are missing, the bronze needs to be refixed.
