ABUNDANTLY ILLUSTRRATED PRINCEPS EDITION on Roman surveying techniques, weights and measures and land law. Collection donated by Pierre Galland, containing texts by Frontinus, Siculus Flaccus, Hygin le Gromatique, Aggenus Urbicus and other Roman surveyors. Small tear to title, second board damaged with worm damage, internally fresh with wide margins, complete with small vignette on page 134 (USTC, 151451).
