TYPOGRAPHIC MASTERPIECE executed under the direction of Sébastien Cramoisy, director of the Imprimerie Royale, located in the Palais du Louvre. This magnificent edition, with the arms of Louis XIII engraved on the last leaf, is adorned with a title-frontispiece designed and engraved by Claude Mellan, 21 bands, 21 lettrines and 11 culs-de-lampe engraved on copper. Rubbing to hinges and boards, ex. wide margins.
