In folio of nearly 580 leaves, stiff vellum (period binding). An important, highly legible document written in the last third of the 18th century, providing a precise picture of the family's holdings at the time and the legal documents supporting them for some twenty locations in the Réaumont seigneury in Dauphiné. The register opens with a directory of 51 chapters: Domaine de Lancey, various houses in Grenoble, Voiron, Rives, Clermont, property of La Mistralie, de la Murette, Vaujany with the lords & possessors of the land of Réaumont from 1544 to 1778. Also included are the rights and defenses of the inhabitants, such as: The right to holy water and a pew in the church of La Murette, judgments with the names of peasants who have cut wood, those who have stolen grapes during the night or rights over running water and fountains. Each leaf bears the lord's signature. Good condition.
