18K (750°/°°) yellow gold brooch centered on a polychrome-enameled wedding coat of arms, surrounded by scrolls of foliage and a ribbon with Latin inscriptions, topped by a baron's crown (later added) embellished with platinum (850°/°°) pearls and small rubies and emeralds, and holding a fleur-de-lis watch hanger. Formerly the centerpiece of a converted chatelaine.
