A very fine pair of knives in colored gold, decorated with a rectangular panel engraved with rinceaux on an amati background, surrounded by twigs and falling garlands at the ends, and on both sides an oval medallion centered on a rosette. One steel blade signed DEFAVE (?). The other with a hallmarked gold blade. Paris, 18th century. Knives: L. 19.6 cm - Gross weight: 86.6 g BL In a green shagreen case, very damaged and incomplete.
