Precious documents of a fleurdelysé curtain from the Palais des Tuileries, probably Manufacture Grand Frères, Lyon, Restoration period, gros de Tours de soie crème broché filé et frisé or de lys héraldiques. Three panels sewn onto a cream fabric curtain head (slightly oxidized), 46 x 45 cm, 80 x 44 cm on a panel folded in half (small marks on the fold) and 35 x 32 cm approx. Provenance: archive used as a model for replica weaving for restoration projects. Preserved in the descendants of a large family of Lyonnais silk manufacturers.
