Beautiful cashmere stole, circa 1840-1850, the saffron field encircled by flowering palmettes and foliage emerging on the border, the ends densely decorated with flowering and jagged palms entangled on either side of a finial. Cut-throw cashmere weave. Wavy fringe edging, (some weaknesses), 270 x 55 cm.
