Superb embroidered vest, circa 1770-1780, basqued vest embroidered in silk and pink chenille thread with a semiset of polka dots and florets on the full, floral interlacing and figured ribbon along the buttonhole and outlining the pockets. Complete with its twelve embroidered buttons in the same style, cream satin lining, (small stains under the arms).
