Beautiful collection of patterns for printed fabrics, circa 1780-1880, gouache and ink on paper, including seven borders for shawls or fichus with mainly historiated designs, averaging 13 x 20 cm, one pattern for bonnes herbes with chimney sweep background, 12 x 14.5 cm. Some thirty other gouache floral designs with a few prints and impressions on wool, (a few accidents), all sizes.
